Portfolio | Coffee Table

This fall I’ve been doing a lot of design work for my friends at Coffee Table, makers of an iPad app that lets you browse and order from major print catalogs (Crate&Barrel, Harrington, Sears, etc.). These are special offer ads that users see when they first open up a particular catalog in the app.

I serve on the board of the Harvard-Radcliffe Christian Fellowship Alumni Organization; I did a simple redesign for the HRCFAlumni.org website, which facilitates alumni support of several campus fellowships at Harvard.

(See also the annual letter I designed for the group.)

Design-wise, this was my first experiment with TypeKit web font implementation.

I designed a fresh WordPress banner and logotype for my friend Christy Tennant’s website.

Portfolio | StageGrade Logo

I designed the logo for the relaunch of StageGrade, an innovative publishing startup that offers reviews-of-reviews for Broadway and off-Broadway theater productions. The graphic element references StageGrade’s unique bar graph representations of critical reviews; the scalloped corners of the bars are a subtle reference to the shapes of vintage theater tickets.

I completed this design previous version of this website, using the Moveable Type blogging platform. Visually, I began with my word search business card, and worked outward from there.

Portfolio | culture-making.com

As curator and co-creator of the Culture Making website, I developed the initial site architecture and layout, and worked closely Culture Making author Andy Crouch, InterVarsity Press, and my good friends at Yee Design, who provided the finishing polish.
