City, by Tony Fitzpatrick

Be sure to scroll through the whole series on the artist’s site: vibrant, funny, rhythmic, heartbreaking. Tony Fitzpatrick is a Chicago-based artist and poet whose works are in the collections of the Art Institute of Chicago and MoMa. His exhibit “Chapel of Moths” (or is it called “Oh Blackwater” or “The Other City”—his website multiplies and bewilders) was part of the super-biennial Prospect New Orleans, which ran last November–January.
